Lots of hikes

I am behind on documenting all the hikes I have been taking with the pups. If I had been smart, I would have documented the snow melt which has been impressive. Instead, I just have lots of pis of the pups. These pics are from different hikes but it shows how cloudy it has been lately.

Some new content to the Blog

Some of you know that I started a new Job last month at the National Ecological Observatory Network. This network is spread out across the United States at 60 locations. I visited two this week in northern Wisconsin. I thought I might log those trips, so I can remember where I have been. I am expected to visit several more. I had to measure tree heights, so I took some pictures of a couple of cool trees.

Heart Issues

Sasha was scheduled for a teeth cleaning last month, but it was postponed because her EKG was abnormal again. We put her in a 24 hour EKG harness to get a long term reading ad she does have some heart abnormalities. She is now on some human heart meds to make her heart regular so she can have her teeth cleaned. These meds are only $4 per month, so that is nice. Her other meds cost $150 per month.

Here are pictures of her in the harness and the nice shave spots she had for the electrodes. Talk about a bad haircut.

Bones and Cute Pics

Aunt SMRP gave my dogs some used bones that her dogs won't touch. Here they are loving the bones.





This is Zuma's favorite place to hang out day or night. He would spend the night there if I let him.
